2 questions for my C6 Z06 (parts to buy)

Hello!
I just bought an 06 Z06
Looking to see if anyone has any opinions on this
The radio is dated, I'd love to play music from my phone in the car
I found this little gadget on Amazon
Bluetooth Adapter
But I am not sure this works for what I want
I have a pretty new Samsung Galaxy (S23 Ultra) so I don't know if this can work in my car? I have this console on my car

Does anyone know any way that I can actually stream anything from my phone in this car without having to buy a whole brand new radio?


Secondly, I'm looking for a rear trunk protector similar to this but I think the people at West Coast might have smoked a little too much in their younger years to price a carpet at 300USD.

The BT adapter will allow your S23 to send music thru the car audio. If your S23 has an audio out connector, there is another adapter that can take that signal and convert it to a FM signal that can then be tuned in on the car radio. Maybe others will have some ideas. But other than that you would need to upgrade the head unit on the C6.

Yeah the s23 doesnt have (like most flagship phones) an audio jack

You can buy an mp3 player that has an audio jack for next to nothing and use the fm transmitter thing, but frankly they don't work that well. Are there any inputs on the car radio? That adapter won't work without an input jack.
You might really want to consider buying a new head unit. I did for my Camaro and was pleased how it worked.

Any "brand name" should make you happy.

What I don't want is to have to run all new wires everywhere in the car, if these things are plug and play (just remove and replug the new head unit) that is great
I'm trying to avoid doing "work" on the car, trying to keep it as stock as possible but if you guys are saying it's not possible I guess I'll have no choice.

You can get a USB -c to 1/8 inch (3.5mm) mini jack adapter which will work fine . I have one for my S24 . Better than Bluetooth for sure. About $12.00 .

If you don't have an audio jack, your cheap and easy is a Bluetooth to FM unit. Transmits your bluetooth feed to an empty FM channel. I have one in my old daily driver toyota.

If you go with Bluetooth there are different revisions.....

Your 06 does not have a USB port. My 09 didn't have one either. 2011 is when they first started installing USB connectivity in the C6. Scroll back 4 posts. I gave you the only option short of changing the head unit and I really doubt you will a plug and play. Some wire head scratching will likely be necessary for a new head.

Yeah I'll probably go with the FM transmitter.
I'm trying to not touch anything on the car, i'm pretty sure these cars are pretty delicate and are kind of built such that "it is what it is dont touch the electronics it will never work the same again"

I cannot bring myself to spend that type of money on Lloyd mats. That is obscene for a piece of cloth.
Yes I looked at Weathertech, I would have wanted one that said Z06 but it seems LloydMats is the only one who does this

Heads up:
There is a premium set of Z06 floor mats being sold by private auction at the Corvettes of Western Ontario show this year (May 24).
They are still in the original packaging - never used.
I wouldn't be caught dead with them in my E-Ray, but that's just me.
