Hi everyone me again.
Ok I made the decisions to install long tube headers to get a true dual exhaust set up. As my car is a 1987 model with the EGR tube that runs from the manifold to the intake, should I purchase the more expensive header with the built in EGR hook-up and the other emissions for the air pump (Hooker 2149HKR). Or can I buy the cheaper set without the emissions bits. If I choose to go without EGR/A.I.R set up, will these throw a engine light code? Is the EGR required for the tune of the engine or can I just block it off?
Also, my car has 1 oxygen sensor before the center CAT (pre cats have been deleted). Is it a good idea to weld one in if I go the cheaper route that does not have the pre drilled out hole for it?
Thanks for your help.
