I am finishing my 1966 Model: Convertible : Exterior Color: 974 - Rally Red Interior Color: 20 - Black Engine Block: 3855961: 427ci Stock Horsepower: Cylinder Head: 3872702 Convertible Top Color: 20 - Black Carburetor: Custom Distributor: 1111141 Alternator: 1100693 Options: A01 - Soft Ray Tinted Glass (Windows), G81 - Positraction Rear Axle K66 - Transistor Ignition System, L36 - 427ci, 390hp Engine, M22 - 4-Speed Manual Transmission (Close Ratio HD), U69 - AM-FM Radio, P48 - Cast Aluminum Knock-Off Wheels (5), N32 - Teakwood Steering Wheel, T01 - Goldwall Tires, 7.75x15 (nylon cord). This car was 1 of 15 with the M22 and 4:56 Gears .I know this car had sit since an least 1981, I purchased it in 2000 and have worked on it with my son since then. We are finishing the build and would like to know the history. 1 pic is when I purchased it in 2000, 1 pic shows the FC code, i pic shows the frame assy, I have lots of documentation of this build and would like additional info on the past owners etc.

Nice project and a lot of work for sure. I am about to start a similar 1966 convertible, 327, manual, only I have been guilty of having it sit since 1985 not driven. Based on the your description I take it that you are doing as close to original restoration as possible? Hope that isn't a stupid question.
