Perhaps the rebranding by removing the E [ electric ] is to not offend the petrol heads , lol , who may still buy it though . Seems in North America at least and especially with most government rebates/taxpayer handouts reduced or gone that most who were going to buy already have . And the mandates for all electric by 2035 are also gone . Eventually they will become more desirable if they get solid state batteries figured out to increase range and cold weather operation . But I have a feeling its still going to be a while before there is widespread adoption . Then again a bit of battery boost is OK I suppose and it doses provide all wheel drive for a short time but for me personally I prefer ICE and rear wheel drive in a sports car . But of course to each their own .That's right, the new 6.7 L engine, the new 186 hp electric motor from the ZR1-X giving a total hp of 721 in renamed E-Ray that will be now known
as the Grand Sport X.
