1/8 inch mini jack.

What would you use it for? I can't think of anything that can't be done by other means.
I have an older Creative Zen MP3 player which I have a few thousand FLAC tracks on that outputs via 3.5 mil jack . No Bluetooth unfortunately and it only charges by USB .

Does anyone with a 2024 have the 1/8 inch / 3.5 millimeter jack in the center console? Mine doesn’t have one although it was included in previous models to the best of my knowledge. Quite disappointing. Thanks.
Doubt you would need it unless your using a super old iPod

I was disappointed that the C8 didnt come with a CD player ;)

Everything streams from your phone nowadays  iPods and CDs have gone by the way of the dinosaur unfortunately

Perhaps for some but my Creative x-fi mp3 has very good sound quality and as with most electronic sound devices especially higher end the better the signal in the better the sound reproduction. I’m finding the “ premium “ Bose system in the C8 to be so so . I think that the factory system in my Tundra is every bit as good perhaps better to be honest perhaps due to the CD player which is of course is PCM 44,100 HZ . Far superior to the streaming compressed signal from SeriousXM for example. I like my tunes . And I know a lot of people say when you get older you can’t hear a lot of frequencies that you could when you were younger but my hearing is still very good. I have always and still do use hearing protection when I’m around anything loud. It does make a big difference.

Thanks for taking the time to look at this. I need a male to usb c and will be tracking one down. The issue was that when I left home to go pick up my car I was expecting to see the now deleted 1/8 inch jack in the center console. For now I have been using Amazon Prime music from my Android. Still can’t touch the Creative Labs Zen quality. I don’t find the premium SeriousXM to be a very good bit rate. Although Prime even over Bluetooth is better than Serious.

Yeah I only have Sirius so that my wife can have something to listen too. Sound quality is horrible...
Sounds like it’s coming out of a dumpster. Hard to beat lossless audio rips using something like FLAC or Ogg Vorbis . If you have a player that supports it. Time to dig into the OM again and see what this Bose system supports format wise . Personally I have never been overly impressed by most Bose gear . Except for the legendary 901 speakers from years ago. First link is Ogg

The sound of my wife's Bose in her Caddy is embarrassing. I was actually pleasantly surprised with my system. Did you adjust the setting (that I can't remember at this time) on it. MKC8 should be around shortly with the manual lol...

Yes. Not a lot of settings other than bass , treble , equalizer , and “ sound stage “ . Where the balance is focused, driver , passenger or center. Again sound quality out is to a great degree only as good as the signal in. I mean it’s pretty good but certainly not outstanding. I’m thinking it will improve once it gets fed a quality input.

OnStar just wants to spy on your s**t ty parking job. Gives the operators something to talk about at lunch break...
Ya . I checked when we got the app set up and the main spyware is now off by default and the rep said it is being removed all together in July after the Washington Post article was published about their underhanded practice. Parking that way has so far kept the door bangers away. Fingers crossed. When OnStar first came out years ago people would go out on the ice road on Great Slave, 10 miles from shore and call OnStar . They eventually caught on but their reaction was hilarious, they thought their system had taken a dump.

I will check when I go back out but I’m pretty sure I have that enabled. Then again… No question video guy just burned a fatty, lol .

Ya I had it enabled. I moved the fader more to the rear which helped and perhaps after the sound system has more hours on it it will improve. Speakers the audiophiles say have to be “ seasoned “ or broken in so here’s hoping.
