I bought my 65 in 1982 as a basket case in 1,000,000 pieces, more or less. I have only driven it a couple of times before I tore it down for the second time to rebuild it. Not finished yet.

Thanks. There is a lot on this car that has made me realize its made up of more than one car. When I had the body off, I found out that it was hit both in the rear and the front at some time. It is probably a rebuilt wreck made up with what could be found. I guess it will never be a numbers...

All you guys on this board have helped me a whole lot. I am grateful for each one of you. My Vette used to have one of those old shark nose front end assemblies that eliminated all the neat retractable headlights and I am trying to piece it all back as original as I can. Almost there.

No, not those "capsules" that hold the whole shebang. I mean those black buckets that the bulb fits into. I have everything else. All the gm cars with 4 headlights that have separate "buckets" look like they would fit into the headlight assembly that you are showing. I just want to see if anyone...

Will any GM small headlight bucket work in the 63-67 Corvette headlight capsule as long as its from a 4 headlight car? They all look the same.

I thought that the design specs on the rear end of a C2 and a C3 were the same. I know the 72 I used to own looked exactly like my 65 chassis. I know that the fender lip is too narrow but the backspace is what I was wondering about.

Will 1972 , 8 inch ralley wheels fit the wheel wells and clear the rear trailing arms on a 1965 Corvette?

Thanks guys. I knew about the release lever. If I use the 65 plastic seat backs I guess the lever on the 67 seat back would be irrelevant. I appreciate the help.

Does anyone know if 1967 seat covers will fit a 1965 seat frame? I know the foam padding is different and will have to be changed but I wonder if there is any actual difference in how the seat material fits on the seat frame. The supply houses list the plastic 67 seat backs differently from the...
