I tore down the stock seat in my 69, welded some support braces, bought new foam and build up the sides a little more with firmer foam. Then ordered some Italian leather and had it diamond stitched. I feel it keeps it looking right and not mismatched like some seats do. Any seat shop can help...

HD Turbo 400 with shift kit and high stall. Depending where you are you may get lucky finding what you want at a salvage yard. Cheap to rebuild any trans yourself. The prices you were quoted are crazy talk:)
Has anyone upgraded to low profile modern hood pins.
I found push pin ones as in the picture and the import looking ones as in the Detroit Speed video at 3 minutes.
I would like to know what you did to keep them level and not off set as the stock ones are.

So as I am enjoying driving my baby (restomod) more and more as gas prices drop to affordable rates and less cars are on the roads I look at my garage full of original parts. I don’t ever see going back to stock as I am having way too much fun and feel a lot safer with modern technology...
