I believe the hinges get shimmed to adjust forward/back. I remember removing a "stack" of shims when I removed my doors. Someone else can chime in if I am remembering poorly!

I second the filament comment. I made a screen mount for my truck with PLA (painted) and is eventually sagged due to the heat in the summer. I have since used ASA and PETG in vehicles without issue. Of course resin will do too!

I would say it is a great option to have! Good work, I know how challenging it can be to 3D print things that have tight tolerances to fit. No different than any other prototyping method but man does it feel good when you get it just right!

Well said Rruuff. I was going to type almost exactly what you replied with. The issue is the thought that guns are for self defense and not a hobby or a tool. There are not many people in Canada buying a gun for self defense. This isn't to say they wouldn't get used that way if needed mush...
There are way to many points in this thread to get you rev'ed up. I do find your view on the gun control thing interesting though. Just to be clear I don't even own a gun, but I have shot many guns. You point about not needing a howitzer seems a bit funny to me since you drive a howitzer car...
Can't say for sure from the pictures but...
The hinges can be shimmed in or out to adjust the fit. However it is not clear to me that is your problem.

Well I am 35. I have had only 7 vehicles. 4 are still current (including the disassembled vette), although all 3 of them (2010 outlander, 2006 Vibe, 2004 Chev 2500HD) are near or over 300k so might be time to upgrade soon!
Just need to get the vette driving again so I have a backup-backup car!
