    Changed the clutch fluid and took it for a long drive and haven't heard it yet. Keeping my fingers crossed but still not too sure yet. It's just too easy, things are never that easy for me!     C5 Strange noise when up or downshifting

    Have only had the car a year and all fluids changed except for the clutch. Can't feel any vibration from the stick or pedal and happening in most gears now. A short drive yesterday and it didn't happen at all. Sound seems to be coming from the stick area and not the rear end.

    C5 Strange noise when up or downshifting

    My 2000 C51 Convertible 6spd has this strange noise when up or downshifting. Started with only downshifting but now also up shifting at any rpm. It sounds almost like metal guitar strings letting go! Any suggestions as we all know tranny work is scary and $$ Thx!
