What Murray said. It's quite a bit louder from outside. Compared to previous Corvettes, the exhaust is both farther away and separated from you by the engine and, in a coupe, a thick piece of glass. Not aftermarket loud, but loud enough I don't need to annoy my neighbors with a louder one.

I think the C9 will pretty much be a C8.5. Same chassis and suspension, a new ICE with a bit more (but not a lot more) horsepower, and new exterior and interior styling.

He's asking about the coupe, not the rear window on an HTC. But since you raised that question, the window in the HTC can't go any lower without running into the firewall between the engine and cockpit.

You'd fill the cockpit with engine bay fumes, and also have to listen to the loud ticking of the fuel injectors.
