I just purchased a 2026 c8. My second one after selling first one few years ago. I was confused and was told that the 26 didn’t include 2 oil change and dct canister change. So I purchased a 3 yrs enhanced care with 40k km. for around $1900 after tax. I just confirmed with Chevy online...

under 150k its 1.20 (15% pst , 5 % gst) above 150k its 1.26 (21% pst, 5% gst).

been looking at the 1lz in victoria for 144.5k. . some calculation. 9k luxury tax and pst gst, it comes out to approx 185k. its def not a affordable car anymore.

im in vancouver. deposit in may 2023. got a call 2 months later to order. seems like demand has dropped off significantly.

120k before tax wow. my first c8 2lt with z51 was 95k before tax..

thanks murray, i checked 3 days ago it was still at 3000.. and just checked again.. it is now produced and waiting for shipping... interesting that it skipped from 3000 to 3800.. i can now rest assure that its a 2023..

hopefully they will finish all 2023 allocations and start 2024

i dont have a date yet.. thats why im concerned if they push mine into 2024

thats what i thought.. the allocation was supposed to be a 2023.. if you look at my build sheet. but product is suppose to end sept 1.. im not sure they if can build mine in time..

we submitted our build have been in status 3000, Accepted by Production Control: for more than a month now, knowing the huge increase in price for 2024, is my order going to be a 2023? i know production is ending in a week or so...i would hate to get a 2024..

I had the car for almost 1 yr now, ive always wondered about this scenario. I sometimes would declutch to rev for a sec when entering a tunnel (car is in motion and in 5th or 6th gear). Would this hurt the transmission due to engaging to N from 6th or 7th gear, and back 6th gear again...

For certain the financial guy gets commission.. when I pushed for a lower amount or I won’t take it. he said he can’t offer beyond that . When I got my bmw exnteded warranty. It was totally diff. They couldn’t give any discount as pricing was given by bmw.

The lotus looks nice. But it’s more expensive than the c8. Less performance. And will be expensive maintaining. The wait might be the same as the c8.
