I just like how stiff and responsive the care feels (but yes, also like that it stays out of 4 cyl). It’s a short season here so I like to get the most out of whenever I drive the car.
Is there a downside or issue with street driving while in track mode in the C8 (other than fuel efficiency)?
I love the feel of the car in track mode but I have had a few people mention that it can be an issue on regular roads, specifically for the suspension and rims.

Scott,
Thanks for all the contributions you make to the forum! It’s appreciated. Keep the info and insights coming for the next 5 years (at least). Cheers!
I think it really depends on where you are driving. I got my C8 used and the one option it did not have, that I would have ordered if I had built the car, was the front lift. That being said, I have never scraped the bottom of the car so far (even with an aftermarket splitter). I am out of...

Indeed. It does seem to be much harder than it needs to be. Thankfully there are resources like this forum. I wonder how many people just cut the cheque for $950 and don’t know better.
I guess as many as pay $5500 for a $2000 extended warranty. It’s sketchy out there.
Well, the dealer covered the DTC service and it went though. For anyone interested the latest “rules” are:
2023 Vehicles - 2 complimentary oil changes must be done within 24 months of in-service date, one DTC Filter change, any time/km, not linked to an oil change at the discretion of the owner...
Thanks for this Murray! I did an online chat with GM Customer Care as you suggested and they confirmed for me that for the 2023 C8 there is one complimentary DTC Filter change and that filter change can be done anytime within 3 years irrespective of the KM's on the vehicle but that it is best...
