I agree with this sentiment however I think there is a fourth legitimate reason: if you value performance above everything else. The Coupe is ~100 lbs lighter which is a lot in the car world. Lower center of gravity, easier to reach engine bay, and its reflected in the 0.1 faster 0-60 times.
One thing that is often missed in these discussions is the fact that wind noise and buffeting in coupe will be much worse.
I already drive with earplugs on the highway with my HTC top down because it’s just too loud. Would be much worse in a coupe.
Its based on scraping the GM VIN Window sticker method. And there are only a set # of combinations for each vin. I think the only variables are HTC/Coupe, and 1l3/2l3/3lt.
So you try those 6 combinations for every vin 5 digit ending (which is not a real variable, since it sequentially...

Dealer wanted like $1350 + tax which seems excessive for a relatively straightforward job. Users on the american forum are saying they found shops that will charge 2 hours labor, which seems about right to me.
