Had a 2020 before the Z06 - zero troubles with it but this one gives it backing outta the driveway onto the street. I have the front lift and aero. Also slow approach onto any other curb fwd. as mentioned on a diagonal. I’m pretty certain it’s the rear window area behind the pax seat. 🤷

24 coupe - started getting a pretty good creek when diagonal crossing curbs. Read something about lubing the seals - did that but I think it’s coming from behind the pax side window area. Any experience out there on a solution or fix? I can’t be the only one getting this :)

The tech took the bumper off to install the cats originally. Same on my stingray, but when he did the spacers/mini cats / just the air box access. Took just over an hour for the spacers.

Got it back this am - codes cleared out. Runs great and no new CEL - 60 plus KM put on since installation. A few start cycles etc. In and outta Zmode with the valves cycling - all great since adding the spacers/mini cats. The tech double checked everything for system leaks as well. Gaskets etc...

I spit my beer out on the “hillbilly cats” too. ThAT was funny lol. Love it. True though!

lol the car hit the 800 km before the cats went on ( drove it a lot) but had great luck with the 2M before on my C8 stingray No CEL 👍 and decided to give them a try again. We will see if this does the trick! If not back to the drawing board.

So - here’s my quick update. 2 m cats are on - not a lot louder with a cold start. I recorded both and not much difference but there is definitely some increase and throaty improvement. As all have mentioned it was pretty loud before! Now for the big question. No CEL well at least immediately...

Getting installed Thursday:)

Have her now - it’s in getting a ppf wrap and done on Tuesday this week. I’ll likely take it direct to Western Corvette and get the cats installed this week. Agreed - the z06 is much much louder as is!

I had 2M sport cats on my C8 stingray and really like the added throaty sound. Taking the plunge for the c8 Z06. Any experience out there with these or others on the z06? 2M in particular. Claiming 25hp (didn’t notice much difference on the old car) Here’s my completed order - final price...

Yes - Mr corvette is a great asset to this community. He takes the time to respond and his info is accurate. Thank you. He helped me with my order expectations (car is waiting for me at the dealer. Picking it up Thursday. It too exactly 1 month minus 2 days to be delivered to Calgary.
