-I thought you'd be in Airdrie in Scotland, hadn't realised there would be on in Canada! I used to have a 96 Trans Am, really liked that car. American muscle is a bit of a rare thing over here in England, so it takes quite a lot of commitment. And the weather is rubbish!!!
Bits of this, bits of that... some of which is working some of the time! '06 Dodge Magnum SRT8, Magnum 427 Cobra replica, '68 Dodge Coronet R/T. You got any other stuff ??
Not just cockles, on a recent trip to the Norfolk coast, a seafood vendor guided my purchasing decision towards whelks, clinching the deal by announcing that "The whelk is a much maligned mollusc."
It would have been rude not to! :)
Hey, thanks guys. And I did mange to get a good drive out in the Corvette too.
No luck -as yet- on the car's history. But I'd be really grateful if anyone's memory gets stirred to recall anything.
And Mr Ruuuff Day, funny you should mention cockles. I did have big bowl of mussels in the...
The last date on the document states 07/05/15 and I think it was exported between the end of 2015 through to around March 2016. And if the paper work is correct, it looks was driven about 12,000 km during that period -so someone probably noticed it!
Good idea, thanks for that, I've started a thread. Hopefully in the right place, my geographical knowledge of Canada ain't too good, but I think I'm heading in the right direction!
Hi guys. We've got a '78 Sliver Anniversary L48 Corvette, a Canadian car and we're really keen to learn some of its history. I bought the car last year from the guy who imported it into England, and a found an Ontario 'Used Vehicle Information Package. The car had a number plate: WEKNDTOY and...
Thanks Riley and Franci. I look forward to enjoying it again, but each calliper seems to be taking it in turn to fail, even though their stainless lines, and look to be quite new. Looking forward to being back on the road hopefully later this week...
I did find a 'Used vehicle information...
None due! I've gone too far with the car already, I should just enjoy it and not go down the anxt trail of performance, authenticity, show quality et al. Got a couple of other cars like that, and it makes it harder to enjoy them
Thank you Mikey, but tracks are quite a long way off for me. I can just about drive in a straight line most of the time, so I'd rather not show myself up. And it's an L48, so I'll just enjoy the ride! (I've got a couple of other cars if I need to prove a point ;) )
