Two SW Ontario car shows this weekend.
Many people go to the Fleetwood show in London. I just got back from a visit there and it is a major beehive of activity with setup. It will be a very impressive and big general car show. I actually was there to look at an Airstream trailer for sale...
My belief is that many new Corvette owners (C6 in past few years and C7 now) are new to the Corvette world. They know little (and probably care even less) for the DNA of ownership. They are just ignorant of the fact that you are suppose to wave at any other Corvette. Or worse... they have heard...

Summer in the air here yesterday. Hit 80F on the U.S. scale! Took a drive in T-shirt with top down in the sunshine. Perfect convertible weather. Doesn't get much better than this. :D
It seems like half the movies these days are remakes. Make me wonder if Hollywood has just run out of fresh ideas. Seeing a remake of Corvette Summer with the new Z06 Convertible would be great. The blue one would be perfect for a movie. Maybe Mark Hamill can portray a grandfather who is trying...
Finally!
After missing several days of mid 20 temps over the last few weeks, I finally got the car on the road. It was only 11C and sunny when I went for a ride, so didn't bother with the top down. Good feeling just to drive her again after 5 months. :D
Fired up as though it was sitting for...
Impressive! According to their website they have 8 listed with 4 sold. Three of the eight are convertibles! I don't know how in the world he got hold of so many, especially newer convertibles.
In my town, a woman who had the one of the nicest C6 vettes (2012 GS anniversary carbon convertible)...
One warm evening late last summer I was cruising with top down to the marina where all the people and cars hang out. Traffic was heavy as I was coming back and saw what I thought was a C6 convertible behind traffic slowly coming towards me. As it got closer, I gave an enthusiastic wave and big...
Dang! Sunny and over 15c today and still climbing! If the vet was ready I'd go for a ride. She's calling me! (Neighbour out yesterday raking his lawn in short sleeves.)
I love Millennium Yellow! Best yellow ever an ANY 'vette. (Just my opinion of course.)
Spring is here...some flowers and herbs are up. Went bike riding with the wife today and was passed by a Mustang convert. with top down. Thought it a tad premature. Hit over 12c today, but still not there...

The Corvette Club of Windsor - Annual Waterfront Corvette Show
2014 Windsor Waterfront Corvette Show | Corvette Club of Windsor
It was great last year. About half the cars were from the U.S. I suspect several C7s from across the border this year.
A few days ago we had some tulips starting to push through the ground. I think they got their little butts frozen off in the last few days. I don't see 'real' Spring arriving for a couple of weeks yet. Hope I'm wrong and the double digit forecast for next Sunday will continue and be the start of...
First thing I do when I get any car, new or used, is tint the windows if not already. First thing I did with the C5 convertible was tint the windows, even though some on the U.S. forums state you don't need tint on a vert since they drive with top down all the time. Haven't seen ANY vehicle that...
I've friends that are currently in Venice where they go every winter. :coolgleam: Sigh!
I'd be there too, but the problem is finding pet-friendly accommodation at a reasonable price. :(
A Corvette show is a bonus! :D
I need to double my effort at finding a place for next winter...
