Ignore Coke, Porsche still offers the manual for the 911 and it has a pretty good take rate. I don't see why the C8 wouldn't benefit from a manual. I'd consider it.

I'd only consider the GS if it came with that motor and a manual transmission. It would almost be what the GT3 is to the 911.

Interesting car...if listening to Rick Conti it will be the dominant selling C8 for 2027. Where will it be priced? If lower than the Z06 it will definitely eat into Z06 sales as its an attractive package and from what is posted a nice sounding 6.6L.

Agreed...here in Canada I received $20k off my 25' Z06 but it was slightly used 1,800 miles (3,000kms)

Even though I'm a Z06 owner now, I have owned 3 C8s and they are still a great car and definitely best bang for your buck. Its like the Porsche 911. I've owned a few of them including two versions of the Carrera T and a 2018 991.2 GT3. The minute I drove the GT3 I was ruined...its sublime...

Well said! I too don't understand the lack of torque comments as this car pulls. The Z06 is so different from the Stingray in its chassis dynamics that really the only way to feel it is to try it.
