Yes, for sure the Z06 is quite a bit faster than the Stingray. The two noticeable differences are acceleration and those brakes! You can basically select which car you want to use.

I don't see why the C8 wouldn't benefit from a manual. I'd consider it.

If lower than the Z06 it will definitely eat into Z06 sales as its an attractive package and from what is posted a nice sounding 6.6L.
