yeah boy, love the look, love the sound, but the softball size burn I got on my lower calf ( will have the scar forever) was a lesson in itself, no more shorts when driving the damn thing and step wide. -

You bet, absolutely love the look and the sound is not bad, definitely gives it a unique rumble. As soon as I was done installing them I looked at them and said " yep gonna have to be careful here". You really need to keep it in mind when getting in and out after driving, actually had somebody... -

There should be factory heat shields but they only help so much. I installed the hookers on mine after the engine swap and boy do they get hot. Told my wife numerous times be careful only to singe my own calf so bad the blister was the size of a softball. Love the look, now I step extra wide... -

Yes please, if someone has an answer it would be very welcome. Mine is the same driver side fits perfect, passenger side is high, I have tried adjusting and just cant get it even, I have had the hood off a couple times during the motor replacement process but it didn't fit right before... -

If you are sure it isn't a ground issue, it likely is in the harness after all its almost 40 years old and they get brittle and worn. -
Not impress with Corvette Depot
Well my friend, I am sorry to hear of your sad experience. I can tell you I had a similar issue in that they could not supply what I had ordered and it literally took 6 months to get a refund. Have not bought from there since and will do my utmost to never do so again. I buy from the US costs me... -
