Question Fair price for 1st oil change??
The most I’ve ever paid for my Stingray at the dealership, using Mobil 1, 0-40 is $135. If I take it to an independent service centre, it’s around $80. -
My C8 engine self-destructed at Area 27 in BC.
I’m not sure how important matching number is to you, but a new engine will eliminate that. Rebuilding will preserve it. -

Vette Fest - July 07-08 (Bayfield ON)
I have attended the Bayfield Show several times and always enjoyed it. Last year after driving 3 hours to get there I found there was only one public bathroom available for 700 people. I found that unacceptable and unnecessary in this day and age. I don’t plan to attend again. -

I recently dropped an LS1 engine with a 4L60E transmission into my 80 Corvette. I changed the tail stock so I could retain the mechanical driven speedometer. It worked quite well. The only problem I’m having is finding the correct driven gear for the speedometer. They are discontinued by GM...
