    Question Low speed clunk/click

It's difficult to describe. It was like an elastic being stetched and let go with a medium pitch clunk. Car has disc brakes so I doubt a stone would get stuck. I appreciate your thoughts and I realize it could be a lot of things. It sounded like it was coming from the rear of the car. I've...

    Question Low speed clunk/click

While stuck in stop and go traffic in my '75 I heard (and slightly felt) a clunk/click as the car slowly moved forward. It was regular and seemed to occur with each rotation of the tires. After doing it for three or four stop and go's it disappeared. I tried to replicate it in a parking lot...

Check your battery terminals to make sure they’re clean and tightened. Sometimes it’s that simple.

    Claret Red values

I've owned a number of "collector cars" and my advice is to never buy a car anticipating making a profit. If it happens that's a bonus but buy the car because you love it and will enjoy it. The market for old cars is unpredictable. Do with it what will make you happy.

Looks like four Allison aircraft engines. Reminds me of Tommy Ivo's "Showboat" dragster that ran four nailhead Buick V8's.

That's a DeHavilland Mosquito. My father was in the RCAF in WW2, 409 "Nighthawk" Squadron. They were a night fighter squadron and flew Mosquitos. The Mosquito was an amazing aircraft. Made primarily of plywood over a metal frame and very fast with power coming from two Rolls Royce Merlin...

    1970 C3 LS5 ... Question about fuel

FYI there is no ethanol in Canadian Tire Premium fuel and that applies to all Canadian Tire gas bars. The Canadian Tire gas bar I use has the statement "Contains no Ethanol" on the pump right under the price of the premium fuel. They are likely sourcing their fuel from Shell. I have been...

Check out this link. I found it helpful. It's tedious and takes time but it systematically narrows things down.

    C7 drivers don't wave to C8

As a C3 guy I always wave at other Vettes and if I'm the initiator I get return waves 90% of the time. Don't care what year Vette it is and I don't really get the "envy" thing. I drive my C3 because I love it and it's my time machine. No new car of any description can make me feel 25 again...
