This? No you don't need to remove anything, just insert it and leave it. You will know if it's connected or not by the indicator on the battery charger. -

Range Technology or other AFM
I have the Range one and run it constantly, I don't think I'll ever not use it. I really hate 4 cylinder mode and it sounds so bad when it switches modes. Also I have a suspicion that the switch between 4 cylinder and 8 cylinder mode is what causes pre-mature tensioner failures. -

Apparently since last year there were some pretty big changes that went under the radar. Regulation forced companies to increase ethanol in gas. Every premium octane out there now has 10% ethanol in it, Shell included. I was curious about this because I pulled up to a Shell gas station last... -

Well, it appears that the C7 was designed with safety in mind........
Probably because the chassis is very compact and stiff so it becomes very hard to bend and rip apart. The lightness is also another significant factor as you just bounce off impacts like a ping pong ball. Driver is an idiot for ruining the car. -

Anyone ever use 1 piece brake rotors?
I'm talking about the Grand Sport in this scenario not the Stingray. I see that the only option for the 2 piece rotors on a GS/Z06 is the OEM rotors or Girodisc. Literally nothing else. But I see a ton of "compatible" 1 piece rotor alternatives that are much much cheaper? Anyone ever attempt... -

Drag racing yesterday
Reminds me of the one time this walnut at the dealership threatened to void any warranty work on my transmission flush (which was a mandatory TSB from GM) if they find any trace of me "abusing" my car. Also battery is officially 4 years old, date on it is 2018. And it had no handles on it so getting it out is like struggling with a lion. GM is out here trying to save every cent possible and compromise this car in any shape, way, or form... again :rolleyes: But I'm surprised this battery is... -

Wasn't gonna wait for an OEM replacement at the dealership, went out and got an AGM battery with higher cranking amps and installed it. All works well (except my settings all got reset :mad:) Edit: For anyone wondering in the future reading this, my infotainment and USB ports work again as normal -

So today I started my car normally, it hesitated just a bit but didn't mind it. Went to the gas station and after car refused to turn over. One of my headlights went out and all sorts of random stuff was going on with the electricals everything went haywire. Got it jump started and it works now... -

Steering wheel radio buttons stopped working?
Okay I guess it fixed itself after the car sat for a few hours. Seems the modules don't actually reset until the car enters hibernation mode which doesn't happen for a while so a quick restart is useless. -

Compatibility of C8 Wheels with a C7?
Why would you want those or any GM made wheel for that matter? Apart from them being super ugly (debatable due to opinion), they are also poorly made and people have already had literal holes in them from factory. -

Advice on C7 differential fluid change
Why is everyone replacing their diff fluid so often? Is there a memo I missed? Manual says every 72,000km. Or is it because of tracking?
