Do you go with a lower-trim car in the exact colour you love, or a higher-trim car with a colour you only like?
Working in a dealership, I’m surrounded by car enthusiasts all day, and we constantly end up debating these kinds of "would you rather" scenarios.
Today, one of my colleagues asked me:
Would you take:
A Blade Silver 1LT Stingray with the Z51 package, red interior, and a few other options...
OR
A Roswell Green 3LT Stingray with Z51, Front Lift, Magnetic Ride Control, black interior, yellow calipers, yellow seat belts, yellow stitching, and plenty of other supporting options?
Honestly, I was stuck.
I absolutely LOVE Blade Silver, but that Roswell Green spec is incredibly well put together, and you get a ton more features and technology with the 3LT.
In the end, I went with the 1LT in Blade Silver. For me, the colour is something I'd see every single time I walk up to the car. If I had a little extra money left over, I'd put it into some tasteful modifications and make it a truly 1 of 1 car a Corvette owner speaks about.
