Wow that’s USD as well. Wonder how this is all going to look 12 months from now when more are available and the hype cools.
I expect the C8 will end the $xxxxxx pricing over MSRP on the C7 ZR1 too.
Interesting times ahead for sure. 😀

I tried going on - line to price GM Canada - not available - pisses me off actually - left to the mercy of the dealers.

Well as with many things of high price (like a house and this ZR1) … and even $100 items on eBay ...
The asking price has to match the selling price for it to mean anything.
This US$198k venture would rank as a tremendous speculative risk in my books.

… as I will just hafta wait to get exactly what I want for my money … yummy :Woot:

If it's the White one that I posted that you are referring to …
that price is in Canadian $$$ and from the GM Canada Website :joyful::thumbs:
(the only thing with the Canadian Website is that not all options are there to choose from - like blue calipers)

I suspect that the dealer will be inflating the price beyond MSRP? When I bought a new 2007 ShelbyGT500 (1st yr. of introduction) I paid a huge premium which I was not aware of until after the fact; and, to make it worse I had to do mods to improve the handling with all the power (500/500 HP/T). I would never buy from that dealer again or any dealer that does that.

The guy in the US$198 is selling this …

With patience I'd order my White one pay way less in CAN$ getting the one that I really want.
I would also not be willing to accept an MSRP markup on my ZR1… that is unless
they don't want to make much more from my ZR1 sale with referral sales that I do ...
as my 2 stingray deals brought my Edmonton Dealer 4 GMC referral sales.

New ZR1 and Demon pricing is high due to rarity now. I see this off and on for different cars for all my car life. More after the internet happened.

guessing Buick GNX's were the same thing at it's new time. Yenko's in the early 70's and so on.

Supply and demand.... you book a holiday at Christmas and you will pay twice as much as mid January to same location.

Sounds bang on … my White one @$167k is not-orange and not-track package
but does get chrome & blue bling (calipers, stiching & vert top) & is auto too.
… and before I sign on the dotted line … "the locking nuts will get thrown in Mr. Dealer Salesperson" :Shifty:
