Found out that a white ZR1 ran the Texas mile today with manufacturer's plates on it. From what I have heard, first pass was about 183mph and for the second pass they removed the ironing board and hit 189 mph. I haven't found a link to it yet as the internet connection on this vessel is slow.
Something for the perpetually curious to hunt up and post. Actually, I issue challenge to find it and post it.:Reddevil:

Texas mile's Facebook page has mention of it....... 189 is pretty strong mph for that event.
