And I quote....from the article...
"For those who need even more power, LPE is also developing a twin-turbocharger package to bolster the 427, which will see outputs well in excess of 1100 wheel horsepower when drinking race fuel. A package with closer to 700 horsepower will also be available on the “lower” end of the spectrum. The development mule has already been running around for a few thousand miles, but LPE is waiting for warmer weather in Michigan for its final tests."
So the ultimate output 1100 HP and (600ft/lb?) torque requires 100-120octane (aka race fuel).
I believe the 700HP version can use lower premium 91, 93, 94 octane, as you suggest.
Apples and oranges.
Fruit salad.

Pretty impressive regardless of the configuration. I would expect the twin turbo version would also run on pump gas just wouldn’t make as much power. Same engine as the naturally aspirated one it seems. I can’t say that I can really tell the difference burning 91 or 94 octane which is available in some places in Alberta. The ZR1 on the other hand will make over 1,000 HP on pump gas. Very impressive indeed.

$30K usd for the 427. The Magnuson is more economical at $14k if you do it yourself or find a shop to do the work.
True but the 427 is naturally aspirated. And it’s a 427 . But there is also this from the authorized Canadian dealer in Calgary. They have a sale on right now.
