Mike, the car culture in Scandinavia is something really underappreciated on this side of the Atlantic. North American cars are worth more there than over here and they are just as big gear heads as we are. Maybe even more so when you think about what they go through to get their cars and ordering parts for them. The price of fuel would make us shudder here but they take it as normal. There are car shows and events all over Scandinavia; some just for American cars and some that are mixed.

I’ve heard that Corvettes are quite appreciated in England. That’s coming from a British couple and their kids touring Western Canada I chatted with at the Dead Mans Flats Husky 2 summers ago.

Their son (approx 8 yrs old) was all over my car with his camera. Said he couldn’t wait to get home and show his friends at school. It was fun to watch really.
