Make
corvette
Model
C2
Mileage
0
Year
1963
Price
$2
Having been bit by the Vette bug (and having finally saved up some money to pay for the cure), I'm looking for a C2 coupe. A clean numbers matching model, but not too picky about colour/options, other than engine, big block preferred of course.

Thanks!

Hey phunky..
Welcome to the CCForums.
Good luck with your C2 search.
The hunt for the right car can be so much fun.
Where are you located?

Graham,

Thanks for the reply and the wishes! I'm located in Toronto, but willing to travel for the right car.

(It feels like I've been searching for a C2 for a very long time. My parent's neighbor had (and still has) a 1967 427 435 convertible that kicked things off. Some of my earliest memories are running across the road whenever he started it! Not much has changed to this day.).

Perhaps one day the dream will turn into reality.......

Haha - Being a newbie, I didn't know what to put in those fields. Of course, if somebody has a full-size 0 mileage '63 that they would like to sell for $2........

... absolutely fine, no worry and all in good fun ...
a Hot Wheel is also what gets a kid into a Corvette one day
(I have small hoard of these hot wheel hand-outs for Kids)
... and as we say, just plant this seed and add water ...

my inspiration was a neighbor's across the street who had a Silver '72'ish Stingray
(all I remember was the year and that he just bought it)

Hi phunky..
You could try these guys out here on the West Coast.
https://www.diamondclassiccars.ca/
I know Gary quite well. They may be able to find what you are looking for.

I had no idea about the website ... enjoying all the "candy" that's for sure ...
I noticed that 67 as well .... for a low low price of 75000 Hot Wheels ... wow awesome Corvette (not big on green so I am not a competitive buyer ... but wow on that Corvette)

Nascar - thanks very much for the link. Certainly nice to look at, but US$150K for an L68 seems way off market to me (For that kind of money, I'd head over to Barrett Jackson and get some free drinks to go with the car!). Please keep the suggestions coming (ideally below US$150k - or if at that price point, please include the contact details for a good family lawyer!!)

Be sure and send Gary C. a note and ask if he has something else sitting in the wings.
Tell him you talked to me.
