Scott Drummond in Cambellford is going to replace a wheel that is bent that lists for $1200 along with a Nav disk at $ 250 and 2 head sets for the DVD.
I am so glad that I did not buy from Lack of Courtesy Chev in Toronto.
These people are a GM dealer who deserves our bussiness.

Wow, Dan....you found a really good one.......Glad to hear it.

Those other Bozos could learn a thing or two from your dealings with Scott Drummond couldn't they........

Pity you didn't go there when you shopped for the 'vette.
Maybe you will some time in the future.:D

For now it must be a good feeling to have a dealer who cares behind you.

All it takes is a person or two within a dealership to give you a bad taste for the place....they probably won't even be there in six months...........carry on. Be the day some twit takes away my love for a fine automobile.

We have a sign in our office at work..."Choose Your Atitude". I think more work places could follow this line of thinking. Every day, people are freely given that opportunity; some choose to be happy, some choose to be...

Another is "Make their day". It works for customers, it works for co-workers.

i wouldn't be too quick to blame employees. over the years i have worked at places where the owners had crushed the morale so badly that the staff no longer cared. needless to say turnover was very high, with many of these outfits eventually folding. sometimes the frontline staff must bear the brunt of terrible policies that the owners set.

I knew a lady who was a chartered accountant looking after business accounts. She claimed that at least 80% of the people in business shouldn't be. Many don't have the money sense, common sense, work ethic, or personality to be in business. Few people have what it takes to run a business successfully. In a town the size of Campbellford, if you blind sided one customer, the whole town would know within a day. You might get away with it in the big cities but not out here. It's nice to know that there are still good dealers like Drummond around. GM needs them now more than ever.

That is great news about how the dealership is handling the wheel, discs and head sets. It really is too bad that your experience with Corvettes got trashed by those losers.

you are absolutely correct, too bad GM doesn't agree, they have closed most all the small town dealerships around these parts ..... but the offshore makes are doing much better as a result :(

GM closed Lauria Pontiac in Port Hope where we bought out 2005 Jimmy. Rob Nicholas was a pleasure to deal with and, from our experience, that dealership should have been used as a good example rather than shutting it down. I think Rob is at the GMC-Buick dealership on Cobourg now if you are looking for a good guy to deal with in that area.
