the season got off to a slow start with the car broken for the first two races in june but we have slowly climbed up to fifth in points. took the win on sept. 10 and hope to make a good showing on thanksgiving weekend.

thanks murray. been busy as hell !!! sold the shark back in june and the new owner loves it, he's having a great time taking it to cruise nights and such. the car went to the cayuga/hagersville area.

don't have a pic of timeslips. last time out the car ran 7.12 at 95 mph in the 1/8th mile. foot brake launch with a 1.54 60 foot time. translates to 11.17 in the 1/4.

yup, the chevelle ain't goin' anywhere murray. there's a guy desperate to buy it - he's up to 38,000 now but it's not for sale. different folks are after the "studeshaker" too but it ain't for sale either. the afr 195 heads i put on the racecar last year have resulted in quicker e.t.'s by half a second.

the season is over and the car performed well. took runner up in 22 car field on sunday of thanksgiving weekend. lost on the tree, the setting sun against it was nasty. it turned out that neither my opponent nor i could see it and we both ended up counting the lights ! lol. roy counted better than me !!! hahahaha. the photo with the wagon is the win that put me in the finals.

we had our awards dinner and had a terrific time. the car was broken for the first two races this season but we were able to recover some and placed fifth in the points. the car will be quicker next season too, we've started the build of the 406 small block.
