Question Windshield repair in GTA

2021 C8 windshield chipped by a rock on 401... not even 500km. Any reco whether go to the Dealer for repair or somewhere like Speedy Glass? (I've never had a chipped windshield ever before)

If the chip is small enough, a store such as Speedy as you mentioned, may be able to do an on vehicle fill and repair before it becomes larger.
I had a small "star" chip on a car and had it filled and you couldn't even notice it was done.

Fwiw never hurts to swing by a store and ask.

Dealer will likely bring in outside mobile chip specialist anyways. So speedy maybe cheaper.

Be sure that the shop who's replacing the glass has the necessary equipment. The heads up, the radar behind the r/v mirror etc, all needs to be re-calibrated.

Depending on the dealer they may send you to a glass shop anyway for a replacement. Some do, some don't. Chances are good if you need new glass, the dealer will have to order it. If you think the chip can be fixed, put a small piece of tape over it right away to keep dirt from entering the chip as that will leave a slight discolouration even if they can repair it.
