Press Release: 2012 Events Schedule

This winter has brought us some very good weather, considering what we as Canadians have become accustomed to living through. March is proving to be no exception, with very mild temperatures and clear roads!

Having just finished an inspiring display of our Performance line up in front of 300,000 attendees at the Canadian International Auto Show, we are already looking forward to a great Corvette season for 2012! We wanted to let you know about our planned events for the coming season. Mark your calendars for some great Corvette fun!

First we must let you know that we will not be hosting our Annual Corvette Tech session this March. We have been eager to complete all of the continued changes mandated by General Motors of Canada to update and improve the branding and client experience at our dealership. We have been working on the latest phase of this plan which includes a major construction of a new entrance and modification to our new vehicle showroom. Due to an unforeseen scheduling change in our construction timetable, this construction has now started will take place into the beginning of April. This has caused us to cancel our plans for our Corvette Tech Session and focus on our other events.
You can be sure that we will be hosting our Corvette Tech Session for 2013!

March 9-10-11 This weekend we have a vehicle at the Mega Speed Car Show in the Mobil 1 booth. Our current 2012 Callaway SC606 Corvette Grand Sport Coupe will be on display. Drop by and say hello.
MegaSpeed Custom Car & Truck Show

May 26th We will be hosting the Ontario Chapter of the National Corvette Restorer’s Society as they hold their Annual Chapter Judging Meet at our facility. This always proves to be a fun day with many fantastic looking original Corvettes being reviewed to see how they compare against the “as built – ready for new car delivery” condition of originality.

June 15-16-17 Every year the VARAC (Vintage Automobile Racing Association of Canada) runs the Canadian Historic Grand Prix at Mosport International Raceway. This year there are some very interesting facets of this event:
1) Wilson Niblett Performance is sponsoring the complete event!
2) Corvette is the marquee of focus
3) Wilson Niblett Performance will be hosting our 20th Annual Hillfest Corvette Show on June 16th in the main paddock at the track!
4) Mosport is now officially called Canadian Tire Motorsports Park

We will be sending out more information on this exiting three day event in a separate communiqu

You been b4? any good? I can't imagine anyone not wanting to go from what I know of it (which is little) but yeah, I'd like to go, if for nothing else but to see their Calloway Lineup.
I would think being as big as they are, they put on a pretty good show.

Post back up closer to the event times and I'll try to fit it in.

Cheers,
Colin

Yeah a I saw that and it would have been a good session, but there are other events during the year.
Any of those sound inviting?

Yeah the Hillfest and the ALMS are good ones.....The Hillfest show which is normally held at the dealership will be at Mosport this year...I was at the Hillfest at the dealership last year and it was good
