That's a more generous offer than I would give to my child.
He's currently saving up for his own "Vette". He has more than $37 packed away already, and at least another ten years to save (he's six). I made the mistake of saying, "Wow, that's a lot of money! That's more than I have!" So he's been telling every single person that he sees that he has more money than his daddy does. I smile and nod sadly. He's right.

I'd get the woody
Man I miss my "Vette"! I had an '87 Scooter that I swapped in a LT1 from a 93 Camaro. It was honestly probably the most fun I've ever had in a vehicle (and that includes my current Corvette). There was no better feeling that pulling up beside a Mustang in the Chevette and absolutely destroying him off the line. It would light up the tires for blocks at a time. I know I've got some high res pictures of it around here somewhere. I found a couple of really old ones but they are kinda low quality. I'll keep looking for some better ones.
