Visual differentiation is nice, but in this case, that is also coupled by functionality. What is a squircle? A combination of a square and a circle.

Here what the C8’s steering wheel looks like. If you want to read as to why GM started half way toward a squircle by having a flat bottomed steering wheel standard on all C7’s, but additionally why they further moved to its flat top on the C8, that’s at the link

in the old cars and in the new corvettes the steering wheel does not go in a proper circle when turning it

with the squared circle it will wobble like the 60,s sterring wheels just wait

turn your wheel from the far left to the far right and see what I mean


They cannot get the fuel doors correct even

(the c6 was square ish and the c7 is round. Correct. Wtf). Bet 50% never noticed this
