Wimped out?

Yep that pretty much sums it up.

Last Saturday I talked to Manny and decided to cancel my Tuesday morning (April 15) appointment to get the new brakes/wheels/tires/exhaust installed on my car. Seems they were forecasting a mid-April snowstorm for Ontario.

Using my uncanny weather skills and lots of radar images I also concluded that we were in for a bit of the white stuff. I love trying to look into the immediate future and try to out guess the weatherman, a task that gets a lot easier as my current age makes the immediate future a much smaller area to look into

Well this was what greeted me at 7am this morning:

I guess I did make the right decision, although I just could have said it was

I think you made the right decision on delaying the install. Manny does have some great stuff on ebay this morning that looks good. LOL.

This cold stuff is a bit of a blessing up north, it allows some of the water to drain away after heavy rains, the lake this morning is up over the banks.

I don't want to change your thread but how was the Drag Strip Memories Show?

Stay dry, stay warm.

I was wondering when you were going to get the wheels installed on your white lightening! As I was looking at the same rims as you I wanted to see how you liked them first before pulling the trigger. (However, unrelated to this thread and because I am a damn good husband, wheels are going to have to wait for another year which gives me another year to look at wheels).

We woke up to about 3 inches on the ground this morning and everything covered in white again. The snow still hasn't finished melting off my lawn and now this. It's been snowing off and on here all day. Good call on staying put Wayne.
