Where does this go?

Took apart my interior to fix my accessory outlets which were disconnected at some point in the past and noticed this connector just hanging around behind the center console not connected to anything.

Anyone know where this is supposed to connect to or what it does? This is from a C5. Thanks.

i've narrowed it down to a connector to the stock radio, but can't find much info on what the connector does. anyone able to chime in?

from the count of wires, and the colurs, would be that they are speaker wire connectors with almost 100% certainty

I think it is the Tim Horton's detector system. No wonder a guy from Toronto would disconnect that. It would never stop going off.

I agree I think it may be a speaker harness.

Thanks for all the help guys! You guys appear to be correct that it is related to the speakers.

I've managed to track down the connector (radio c3 in the diagram)....now to figure out what it does cause my speakers still work...lol

EDIT: I have an aftermarket deck so not sure if this needs to be connected at all

If you have an aftermarket deck, you probably don't need to plug it in. My bet is that these have been negated by the power from your deck in place of the amp in your factory system.
