Since you are the consummate dapper shoe aficionado, I have assembled the Ultimate Shoe Guide for you to refer to on your shopping trips here and abroad. I've researched these shoe companies and separated by country of origin, and by standards of quality ranging from bench made, made to order, and finally to the bespoke process. England by far has the largest quantity of custom shoe companies ranging from larger production bench made standards to tiny bespoke artisan cobblers that do incredible workmanship and design. Italy is next in line followed by France, USA, and Spain. These combined countries seem to be the bulk of the custom market. This list will be very helpful at least from a quality standard perspective. Design capabilities is a whole other issue. Hope this helps. I know I will use it when I buy my ZORA.

And don’t forget the obligatory driving hat.

Sorry you didn't enjoy the ZORA Man entertainment guide as I displayed. And are Holley shirts anything like Holley carburetors ?

As a general observation I have noticed that many who drive them there "foreign" ME cars look like they got dressed in a St. Vincent De Paul box. Thought that was the current fashion trend for those folks.

Thanks for keeping us up to date with the fashion/literary/distilled spirits and wines trends. Very surprised and frankly disappointed by the lack of cigar suggestions.

Oh well, jeans, T-Shirts and Colts and we are ready to go.

I don't know how to respond to that awesome post. Part of me wants to look up all those websites and shop like a rich person. It's funny regardless!!!

I researched and wrote this as a effort to remind us all that we should be proud to drive such a awesome car as a Corvette. GM is clearly moving the bar upscale with this new C8 generation. Watching the Corvette progress to world class performance and now ultra high levels of design architecture and detailing, this car will up our game in a huge way. By the way, I used to drive Corvettes during the C4 generation then switched to Ferrari's. I'm coming back to Corvette after seeing the generational advancements from the C5 all the way up to the C7. The C6 was a huge hit and the C7 really hit it out of the park. This C8 will explode any negative myths imparted by the competitors. I cannot wait to see the look on Porsche owner faces when a Corvette is parked next to their own car. Priceless!

I posted this once before when I sold my C6 and bought my C7 but your text reminded me.... About 2 weeks into being a new C7 owner, I pulled into a gas station to fuel up. A 911 pulled in on the other side of the pump about the time when three younger women came out of the store... They ouu'd and ahh'd over my C7 and came over to me and asked if they could take pictures and would I take one of them and the car.... Of course I said yes but meanwhile, this guy fueling his Porsche is just fuming that his 911 is getting squat for attention with the ladies when a Vette is there.... lol....

Excellent story ! This C8 is going to do more of this and the Porsche guys are going to go nuts.
