What do you prefer about an engine?

Do you prefer the look of a tpi or LT5 engine with all the metal or the look of the LS engines with all the plastic bits? Personally I prefer the look of the 80's stuff with the TPI.

.....I will slightly add to the choices as the more carburetors the better the look for me. I never owned any tpi etc and never actually looked at one so can't say much about them. sorry but I'm old school. my crossfire is about as modern complicated as I ever expect to get.

Modern engines don't look particularly good. Mostly because you can't actually see the engine. My favourite would be an engine with a 6-71 or 8-71 sitting on top of it.
