Western Fires

Despite clear and sunny weather forecasted for Ontario today it was overcast and dull. News was reporting that the reason for that was smoke drifting in from Western Canada.

We can put up with some smoke but can only hope that our friends and their families in Western Canada are safe and taking all precautions they can with so many fires burning. Best to all, please look after yourselves and hope for the best. With luck more help is on the way with firefighters and weather.

Yes AB is getting it extra hard and early this year. This weekend's forecast where I live is a balmy 38C so expect BC will be there soon again. It's not as cool as it sounds when you're being told to evacuate or to pack up. I'm not one for cleaning up.

All the best to my AB friends and soon to be BC friends, hopefully this is not an indication of things to come this year. It's only beginning of May.
