Well another dead end

Well, yet another dead end in trying to do the simplest thing ever! That is have a muffles shop in town do the tinyest bit of fab work to make a aftermarket set of mufflers fit and look correct on my C5:swear:.

I have some mufflers(only the mufflers) but they only have 1 in port and 1 out port, where as the factory ones have 1 in and 2 outs, I am not an exhaust guy but I have seen whole cars built from the ground up, you would think someone could do the fab work that would take and get them back on the car, I know they can they just wont! So I took the car to competition muffler yesterday cause they are supposed to be the best, and they wont even try they guy just says you can either buy a whole aftermaket bolt on set for $1500 or get the car off the ramps. Just pathetic.:swear:

I guess they're just the best at swapping mufflers on Civic's and Cobalt's. That's really disappointing to hear about that place.

I would have expected better from them. That is too bad to hear. I am surprised they didn't even quote a number.
