Thanks very much for the welcome. I am not a current vette owner. My sister had a couple of C3's back in the early 80's. Always loved them but with marriage, kids, career, etc. It never was a fit for my life. Now, kids are grown, I can indulge in that much earned mid-life crisis. Wife has given blessing to ordering the new C8. I have been watching out for this for years. Very excited to take delivery when I can. GM has done a great job on this IMHO. I think the price point will be hard to keep and that future model years will creep up. I was fortunate to head down to the big road show in August and was able to sit in it at Van Bortels GM Dealer in Macedon, NY. Fun day trip.

Thanks very much. The wait is killing me. We have made several trips to the Museum over the years and hope to arrange for a pick up there. Not sure if they will allow Canadians to do that or not. Worth the ask.

Great to hear that! I will most certainly share if we get to go ahead. I am finding the silence from our Canadian Dealer a little frustrating. I get that they cannot share what they do not know. I just want to make sure that we are kept in the loop as much as possible without being a pain in their butt. A fine line to walk. haha.

A True Canadian you are ... thinking of others (at the dealership) being annoyed by your anxious anticipation.
Good people in Great Dealerships should be more than accommodating as their business depends on your happiness
and prospective referrals as people will notice your Corvette when you are enjoying it.
True it takes understanding and patience on your behalf until they can share more news with you.
