anyone use them in a cabinet blaster ? i know how effective and popular that media is in a pressure pot but how bad does the dust get in a cabinet ? do you have to wait a long time before you can see what you're doing again ?
 
HA! I thought this was going to be a thread about eco friendly alternatives to using salt on the sidewalks! Hahaha. Never used walnuts. I know we get a lot of dust from aluminum oxide at work. I know you didn't ask that but that's all I know!
 
I've never used anything but glass bead and sand in our cabinet and it would be impossible to use without something to draw off the dust. I have a big old shop vac that works fine. When glass beading intakes, I have the air pressure reduced to about 80 psi. Walnut shells don't warp sheet metal from what I have read.
