Value of Used C8's: US sales make it #2 for getting most percentage-wise over MSRP

According to CorvetteBlogger, the C8 Stingray is one of several vehicles with average resale prices that exceed MSRP. The one that tops the list for getting the most over MSRP is the Mercedes-Benz G-Class (a whopping 35.6% or US$62,705 over MSRP), with the Stingray at #2 (20.2% or US$16,545 over) and the Tesla Model 3 in the #3 spot (17.8% or US$8,300 over). Interesting times we're living in with COVID-induced supply problems for vehicle and other manufacturing industries, along with weather events and anything else that delays the supply chains. You'll note the problem that CorvetteBlogger focuses on for vehicles is the chip shortage. Here's their February 3/22 article:

Hope it’s true 🙏🏻
Hard to think of it being a “sales ploy” but, if true, somewhat inspiring news for those of us on waiting lists for an allocation. I am hoping the day returns soon, where there is inventory (and not just c8s) begging to be sold on a dealership lot. In the meantime, my gm visa bucks have grown to well over $5k💰 🙂👍🏻
