Reread your post, I now know you are only referring to your dealer. I know for a fact that their are still allocations available for 2021.

All depends on their number of allocations.
When I ordered my C8, I called many, many dealers last December and several said they were sold out until 2023, others until 2022, and others were willing to take my money (nonrefundable at several) without any further information. I hadn't joined this forum (didn't know it existed) and so basically, I got lucky when I called Bill Spencer and received immediate replies from Sean Lawlor and Taylor Spencer telling me exactly how many were on their waiting list and their best guess at allocation based on previous years. I was 36 in line on Dec 27 when I paid the deposit (refundable until my order was accepted by GM), found out in March that my order was going through and my car was ready at the dealership in September. So, it really depends on the dealership you are working with.
Also, my local dealership has an allocation of 1 Corvette so it definitely pays to look around if you really want the car!
Rumour has it that there was an Ontario dealer last spring that took over 200 deposits for a 2020. Either very optimistic on allocations or just enjoyed some cash on hand. JMO

Yes, I believe that is true. I spoke to that dealer in July of 2019 and he had 85 deposits at that time, and was
more than willing to make me number 86.
Can you name the dealer.

I doubt that that is the dealer. In late July of 2019 I put my deposit down and I was 87 on the list. At that time they were expecting (and told so by GM) to expect about 30% more of their 2019 allocations. My dealer was expecting many more than 100 so it's not a stretch.
Don't forget they also know that they would get a fair number of drop outs.
In December of 2019 I moved up 10 places and by February I got an allocation so many more dropped out.
