No Corvette :(
Well, it got press released to the public yesterday night officially, Callaway Cars is upgrading C7 Z06's to 757 hp with a supercharger that flows about 1/3 more air.

Watch a new video here

Now, the best part..... the upgrade/conversion can be done in Canada at Sherwood Park Chev and it can be done to a used C7 Z06 too.

Not sure but maybe also done in Ontario at Wilson Niblett Motors

Price is about $17,000 USD which with a few extra costs should be in the mid $20'k area... meaning around $25.000 Canadian and that is for more hp then any Lambo out there.

My buddy is the west Callaway Corvette rep and the car specs are a 10.5 @ 131 mph but they say that is a conservative set of numbers. Says come fall air, good track, good driver they hope to run a 9.9 at a track on the east coast with a Callaway 757 A8 Z06 coupe.

If you have questions ask me and I will get you in touch with Mike or contact these two dealerships.

I think we had this conversation in a previous thread and agreed that the price for the new Callaway was unbelievable to say the least. Must be nice to have money to burn.

Ya, we have had this before.

I didn't post this to do that again, just posted it for info.... maybe 1 or 2 people in Canada might go for this package... maybe not.

I have had 1 or 2 people tell me that Dynaplug at $70-90 is too much money.... they would rather buy the cheap kit with glue. But many like the quality of the product.. it isn't cheap...... but it isn't pricey still being under $100

You are paying extra for a 3 year warranty that works with GM. $17,000 USD is not cheap, guessing that includes a hood too.

My buddy just spent $15000-20000 ( don't know exact ) for a new tranny and motor work at Davenport in Calgary on his C6 Z06....... modding cars is not cheap..... no $2000 slap on blowers anymore.

I have to agree that modding ain't cheap! Hence why, I have not modded my car yet. Outstanding looking car. Nice to see companies pushing the limits of what these amazing machines can do!

It sure would have been nice to hear that supercharger and callaway midmount exhaust swap by pushing the button and stepping on the go pedal.....but then again...i'm old school.....like the rest of you corvette cronies.......
