So, my work is sending me to Michigan for 6 weeks (I believe starting in May) to help construct Toyota Tacomas for crash testing at Toyota's Crash Test Facility. This is a great experience that I'm looking forward to with some cool perks, but is bittersweet as I may be missing some great gatherings with this group. Hopefully I'll be able to make them. My job details are fuzzy at best. I have a meeting Tuesday which will hopefully clarify some things.

Coming out to the half mile drag racing event in Chicago?:D

That would be AWESOME to go and be part of some crash testing! Awesome opportunity! Let us know how it goes!
 
I'm hoping that Chicago won't be affected. The drive from Michigan to Chicago should be a bit shorter as well.

Thanks Riley I'll keep you posted for sure. It'll be interesting to what all is involved in the process.

Wow, good for you Justin -- that sounds like a terrific opportunity for you.

Of course we'd love to see you at our meets especially the COPING event, but will totally understand if you can't make it.....There will be many more meets to attend I'm sure, and this job opportunity won't come up often.

Hey we will be in prudenville(near saginaw) michigan on the long weekend in may at a friends cottage not sure if the vette will be going at this time but will possibly pass by where you are:seeya:
