I am going to make a guess here and suggest a bit more information about your Corvette. ie year, model, etc...
Pretty certain someone will chime in with some guidance (probably from their own experience) and more questions

Hi Bob. Yeah. First (in the New Users section) we usually get a "Hi! I'm Bob. I'm new to the forum... I own a 68-82 C3 Corvette. Here's a picture.... Can anyone help me out with a turn signal switch replacement". Welcome to the forum.....And yes.There are lots of experienced C3 owners here.
