hello, after 2 many months finally got out my new 2014 c7.. just with the reading on all the c7 it seems most all have battery tenders on your cars.. hooked one up up today but my question is the trunk light does not seem to go out.. i close trunk as far as i can without it locking and with lights out in garage i can see the lights r still on. does truck have to be latched for lights to be off. the rest of the lights all went out unless the trunk stays on longer?? my kid did not the idea of me locking her in truck to see if lights go out once latched lol.. i know on my f150 even if i leave my map lights on they eventually go out and not when the battery is drained ..
thx Andy

Hey 61ratvette.... my light goes out after 10-15mins. Leave the rear hatch open in the evening and check back in 10-15mins. Interior should be all dark by then.

Same here. Mine goes off after everything else, 3 -4 minutes later than all other lighting.
I run an extension cord for my tender through the sleeve of an old sweater where it comes out the hatch (to avoid the cord rubbing the car) and leave it unlatched all winter.
No probs.

I squeeze the chord in a closed hatch ... not an issue

... hatch lights should be off by the end of this song ... ;)
