so I was trying some autocross, I noticed that after a fast and hard fish hook turn then into an s bend, my automatic transmission wouldn't upshift to the next gear. it stayed in the lower gear even to 6000 rpm. any ideas? car has 53000k. mostly just cruising since I got it at 32000k. should I try a trans flush? it is an 05 vert with z51 package. thanks guys

Maybe shoot Manny a PM. I doubt it would have been sloshing enough to loosen any settled debris and have it stick up in the valve body?
I would not recommend a flush as I've heard the flushes tend to flush settled debris all throughout the transmission. However, maybe a service with pulling and cleaning the pan with new fluid is in order. ???
