So I've had this Z51 since June now and just learned to realize that there is no provisioned threads under the rear bumper latch for a tow hook, nor is there one in the front
(although the cut-out is there just no threaded mount). ZL1ADDONS makes a kit for front and back so that you can use the thread in type tow hooks... or I've seen the T-hooks
that hook into the frame holes (lift points), if you use two of these with a strap it would probably work well too? Why would GM provision the latch in the rear bumper and in the
front Grill but not put the tow receiver threads into place..... that is beyond me....
If anyone else is in this situation... what did you do... personally I'm thinking of at least getting the front threaded receiver.... if the car ever needs to be flat bedded it would make
loading that much easier and safer... thoughts?

You must have a '14? I believe only the 14s didn't have the receiver's built in.

Personally I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you track your car. There are towing straps they sell that have a hook on either end (I think called a bridle strap, or a saddle strap or something). You put a hook on each side of the car, then pull the slack to the front.

Yup its a 14'... and it will probably never get tracked. I think the tow strap with two t-hooks on either end probably sounds like the easiest solution and likely the cheapest considering it may never get used (at least I hope not) :-)
Thanks
