Never quite understood why guys splice, adapt and otherwise jury-rig up the heater hose for this.
Pull the old hoses off, buy a length of 5/8" heater hose and go direct from the heater core (or the T if you're has it) to the block fitting. Some guys don't like how much the hose has to turn to make it to the block fitting, so install a 90 degree brass nipple if it bother you.
Quick, easy, simple and fewer point to fail/leak. Looks clean and factory.
You won't gain any HP from it though. It primarily cleans up the visuals in the engine bay and makes it a tad easier to remove the TB (ie: nocoolant hoses to disconnect).
