looking for a throttle body coolant bypass for a 1985. cannot find one for the car. listing only for camero or 90s engine. To purchase a tube and clamps Separately I understand the two have different tube inside diameters. l98 is l98 whether it be corvette or camero. Any suggestions?

Never quite understood why guys splice, adapt and otherwise jury-rig up the heater hose for this.

Pull the old hoses off, buy a length of 5/8" heater hose and go direct from the heater core (or the T if you're has it) to the block fitting. Some guys don't like how much the hose has to turn to make it to the block fitting, so install a 90 degree brass nipple if it bother you.

Quick, easy, simple and fewer point to fail/leak. Looks clean and factory.

You won't gain any HP from it though. It primarily cleans up the visuals in the engine bay and makes it a tad easier to remove the TB (ie: nocoolant hoses to disconnect).

this is absolutely the better way to go and what ive done on the racecar.

skill levels vary though. it can be spliced too quite easily and safely.
